Three leading women from the electronic music scene in Tromsø, discard a ”one night only”- plan and set up a second date at this year´s festival.
Three Leafed Clover - Nasra Omar, Charlotte Bendiks and Anette Tunheim Jakobsen, was a musical stunt at the Arctic Pride-festival in the Autumn, but this intense meeting was so unforgettable that they team up again at the Arctic Arts Festival with their new project Para Fin.
It is no accident that Three Leafed Clover from the north opens our concert series at Karma, the festival´s new arena for northern Norwegian music.
Three leafed came together after the director of Arctic Pride; Stein Sebastian Fredriksen arranged a concert last Autumn with a world premiere at Café Cirka. The premiere was met with jubilation from a highly diverse dance floor.
Nasra Omar works with an experimental world/jazz inspired electronica sound, whilst Anette Tunheim Jakobsen occupies a more dreamy pop electronica world. Charlotte Bendiksen has a profile hailing more from club music.
The live music they will present combines the artists most recent releases with songs fresh off the page.
All three artists will play on various instruments and electronic gizmos will add something special to the songs. The project´s sound takes improvisation as a starting point, inhabiting the extremes of one another´s expression, as well as placing a focus upon party and dance.
