Public order in the city is about to experience hard times: Murmuyo and Metrayeta are known for fearlessly conquering the streets and provocatively putting the rules out of action. Let yourself be surprised by Murmuyo, the clown who seeks to make new friends and cheekily slows down cars in an effort to bring about public peace and quiet. Murmuyo will pop up where you least expect it, and it will be impossible to predict what he has in store for us when he conquers the festival town.
Murmuyo presents dynamic shows in which interaction with members of the public is absolutely essential. This clownish figure gladly challenges authoritarian rules and communicates feelings, creates pictures, characters and illusions with his body being the only piece of machinery. He takes countless visual images and effects into use and integrates them in a wonderful way with the public and innocent bystanders. Murmuyo is always on the look out for new friends.
It becomes apparent that his secret passion is traffic, drivers and vehicles, so don´t be surprised if your tour into town on an errand takes a new and unexpected direction during these days. Murmuyo loves to direct traffic, so this time it won´t just be the usual crowds who create chaos in town during the festival.
Christian Casanova, alias Murmuyo was created some fifteen years ago in Chile, with the help of an ambitious fantasy to bring the public some new, off-the-wall experiences. The idea was born after Casanova took a look at patterns of movement in urban areas.
