Some are Norwegian. Some are foreigners. Some of the Norwegians are atypical. Some of the foreigners are familiar faces. With the event titled Clickers the company Ferske Scener invites the public to quiz, tip and discuss facts about immigration in Norway.
We offer secure, less secure and locked down facts, spiced up with a bit of theatre. With reference to the quiz show Kahoot we look at alternative answers which challenge complacency and political correctness in an informal way. The public takes part by clicking upon what they think is the right answer on their mobile telephones. During the festival week Clickers will pop up in the main square, at the Ungdommens Hus, in a pensioners´society and in local businesses.
Ferske Scener come bearing prizes and guaranteed surprises.
The company creates performances, scripts, meetings and happenings. They research the theatre as a possible arena for community participation. Ferske Scener build upon over 30 years of experience in project based, professional and freshly commissioned theatre in Norway.
The company was established in Tromsø in 2003 by Kristin E. Bjørn and Bernt Bjørn, who were also central figures in the former Totalteatret (1983–2001). Today they share their leadership between the four participants of Clickers and are based at Rådstua.
Clickers is supported with funds from the organisations Fritt Ord and the Fond for Utøvende Kunstnere.
