How is it to be a female taxi driver in Mogadishu, the world's most violent city? What does one do, when playing the role of Hedda Gabler on the national stage, and the pistol shot goes off prematurely? How does it feel to wake up as the captain of a coastal express ship after brain surgery?
These, and many other questions, will be addressed when Ola and Lars Bremnes invite their guests to Ludo's stage during three luncheon hours during which you can be entertained while you enjoy your soup!
The guests are board chairman of the North-Norwegian Storytelling Forum, Steinar Jacobsen, actress Marit A. Andreassen and social commentator Safia Abdi Haase - all three exciting personalities who are coming to the Arts Festival with a briefcase full of tales from their own lives and those of others.
Since the evening is also an observance of NOPA's 75th anniversary, Lars and Ola will include befitting songs that complement and intervene in the tales themselves, and the audience will also hear musician Kristin Skaare's poetic, wordless piano fairytale.
