Young choice – classical noise

Classical concert chosen by young people

Saturday 30. June

kl. 21:00 - 22:15

Harstad Kulturhus, Lillesalen
Price: kr 200,-
Under 18 years of age: kr 100,-

Duration: 75 min

Vivaldi, Piazzolla, Barber, Paganini or Grieg? Young people have made their choice.

We follow up the opening concert and Yehudi Menuhin's slogan "Everybody has the right to music!"
The Arts Festival of North Norway challenged Harstad's lower secondary schools to select a concert repertoire from the classical treasure chest.

They have listened, discussed and made their decision. A group of elite musicians will perform the music. Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert or Vivaldi? Tempting tones from the king of tango, Piazzolla, folk music-based dances by the Hungarian master, Bartok, or beautifully nostalgic pieces by the American composer, Barber? The answer will be revealed during the festival's final concert in Lillesalen.
