Outsider Art Symposium

Art: A meeting place for everyone?

Sunday 24. June

kl. 12:00 - 16:00

Trondenes Historiske Senter

Duration: 4 hours

The seminar is open to everyone interested in and associated with the exhibition "INSIDE OUT" in Galleri Nord-Norge. The topic is visual art, theatre and music in an inclusive aesthetic.

The organizers wish to place "art for art's sake" in a perspective where real cultural diversity becomes a new standard. During the seminar, we will discuss the thesis that "art is for everyone". We will illustrate historical, aesthetic, social and health policy aspects of the theme, and the audience is invited to participate in the discussions arising from the lectures.
