An evening with Mambo Compañeros carries a guarantee for highly danceable music with elements of improvised Latin jazz – and with a very high party factor!
They are one of Scandivania's most successful Latin bands! The group is based in Trondheim and comprises six of the city's freelance musicians plus two Cubans residing in Oslo. The music is self-produced, based on rhythms from Cuba and Latin America. Everything from calm and pulsating boleros via cha cha and mambo, to furious merengues that you simply have to dance to!
The band has collaborated with other celebrated musicians, such as
Frode Alnæs, Jørn Hoel, Steinar Albrigtsen, Elisabeth Moberg and Lynni Treekrem.
