A total of eight artists from five different countries present a genre-crossing, interactive performance that investigates water as an artistic medium, through movement, sound and video art.

 

-I have never tried anything like this before, and I am really looking forward to turning eight artists loose in the pool inside Grottebadet, says Young Festival Artist Jennifer Torrence in reference to her wet dream that is finally going to come true. Normally she makes her living as a percussionist in Bodø Sinfionetta and is a member of the pecussion group NorthArc. Most of us are used to watching performers on a stage, with the audience sitting nicely in the auditorium. Young Festival Artist Jennifer Torrence wants to something about this situation.  In "Water Walk", both the performers and the public are challenged to do something different!
