Big Basco is Denmark's most exciting folk and roots band. Almost everything they do i original, but they shamelessly steal ingredients from the Scandinavian, English, Swedish, Irish, Scottish and American songbooks and create their own musical stew.
It is difficult to pidgeonhole these talented musicians; they are in a continual state of flux and movement. What we can promise, however, is an energetic and happy evening event, and we recommend that you accept the challenge! The name of the group? - it derives from the name of a dearly loved bloodhound. - Basco is achingly professional (...) It sounds as if they have played together their entire life. It is authentic.
