For the first time, one of the world's foremost oud-players comes to Norway.
The oud is a short-necked Arabian lute with four/five strings. Dinkjian's compositions are held in high esteem by singers and musicians alike all over the world, and they demonstrate that music is truly an international language.
"There is no discrimination in music. Music does not judge people or race, religion or nation", proclaims the Armenian musican and composer's hit song "Homecoming" (Dinata Dinata), which was performed during the closing ceremoney in the Olympics in Athens in 2004.
